The Technical Stuff
Experienced Visual Designer with a demonstrated history of working in both Internal and external Marketing and Communications, and Product Teams. Skilled in Art Direction, Branding, Visual Design, UX, Motion Graphics, Illustration and Page Layout. An art and design professional with a Bachelor of Design with Distinction focused in Visual Communications from the Alberta College of Art and Design. My background includes working on a wide variety of projects where I focused on intuitive and engaging user interfaces, conducting user research, prototyping, interpreting web metrics effectively and designing user-centric solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. With an eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating seamless user experiences, I excel in creating designs that are both functional and visually appealing.
The Fun Stuff
I'm a positive person, who loves cats, crafting and mushroom foraging. I love looking at different materials and thinking up ways to make something new out of it- this comes in handy when looking at creative problem solving! Hand lettering has become an ever growing passion of mine, and I'm thrilled to have been able to stretch these muscles for a variety of clients and classes. In my spare time, I love running D&D campaigns for friends, trying new activities and skills (throwing pottery is next on my list), and soaking up media - whether that's new books, shows or games.
