This Logo redesign was purely an exercise and was not done as paid or promotional client work. 
Flexibility: River TV is a cable free streaming platform. It can be viewed on mobile devices, the internet, and as well as on modern televisions. You can enjoy live tv or on demand content, meaning you choose how to consume your media. 
Flow: The overall brand focuses on water - the name River, the offering of Streaming, and they operate from coast to coast- I wanted to reflect this idea visually in the logo. It also demonstrates flow in that you can easily move from show to show with the live tv option and the tv guide channel, that you can’t do with other on demand competitors. 
Fun: Targeting families with young children, they offer a wide variety of children's programming. I wanted to include a more friendly and playful logo that would appeal to the younger side of their programming while staying clean and accessible for adults without children. 
Main competitors (Netflix, Prime, Crave) also have very conventional san serif wordmarks - this offers variation and differentiation between River TV and it’s competitors.
